Crate/Pallet Builder/Shipping Specialist
Our company is seeking skilled and dedicated Crate Builder/Shipping Specialists to join our team. We pride ourselves on our high-quality products and efficient shipping processes. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products are securely packaged and shipped to our customers in a timely manner. Responsibilities
- Accurately read tape measures and calculate measurements
- Maneuver crating lumber with minimal assistance
- Operate various power saws to cut wood
- Assemble wooden crates, boxes, and pallets using screws, nail guns, and hand tools
- Securely package products and hardware into crates and boxes for shipping
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience with hand/power tools (Required)
- At least 1 year of carpentry experience (Required)
- At least 1 year of crating experience (Preferred)
- Proficient in using saws, panel saws, and nail guns
- Physical endurance to lift over 50lbs
- Ability to perform basic computations using fractions
- Experience in reading and executing cut sheet instructions and blueprints
- Strong organization and communication skills
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am-3:30pm, with possible Saturdays
