Job Description

The Industrial Sewing Operator is responsible for performing sewing tasks within the automotive production department. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while operating industrial sewing machines. The Industrial Sewing Operator follows established procedures and specifications to accurately assemble automotive components. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to maintain an efficient workflow to ensure products are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce automotive components according to specifications.
• Follow production schedules to complete assigned tasks on time and meet customer requirements.
• Ensure all work meets company and automotive industry quality standards.
• Inspect finished components and identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Perform routine quality checks throughout the sewing process.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or stitching issues and report maintenance needs when necessary.
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent productivity and meet established production targets.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked with materials.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial sewing machines and sewing operations.
• Experience in automotive or textile manufacturing is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot production and machine issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
