Prep / Line Cook
Alpino Restaurant is seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Line Cook ready to elevate their culinary craft in a team-focused environment. Our menu celebrates ingredients sourced from hills, fields, rivers, and streams—whether fresh, preserved, or cured—and we aim to deliver an extraordinary dining experience to every guest.
What You’ll Do:- Collaborate with the kitchen team to execute a consistently high-level culinary experience.
- Complete the daily production list and confirm all assigned tasks are finished.
- Monitor inventory, and report low stock or questionable product to management immediately.
- Ensure your workstation meets all health, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout your shift.
- Follow recipes precisely and maintain portion control standards set by the chef.
- Embrace a “clean-as-you-go” and organized approach; mise en place is key!
- Properly receive and store orders, checking for freshness, quality, and quantity.
- Help manage food costs by minimizing waste and monitoring portions.
- Communicate proactively—ask questions when unsure and clarify instructions promptly.
