Senior Litigation Attorney
Job Description
Job Description
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Why This Is a Great Opportunity
- Join a nationally respected, century-old business law firm that goes toe-to-toe with the largest firms in the country — without the impersonal grind of BigLaw
- Take ownership of sophisticated litigation matters alongside a collegial team of top-tier attorneys who are genuinely invested in each other's success
- Enjoy meaningful autonomy and increasingly complex, challenging work in a firm that treats you as a professional, not a billing unit
- Build cross-disciplinary depth: exposure to regulatory and transactional matters alongside litigation makes for well-rounded, high-impact attorneys
- Access mentorship, marketing support, and business development resources designed to help you grow your own practice over time
- A competitive salary and benefits package that recognizes your experience and the value you bring
- Annual performance bonuses tied to results
Location: This role is fully on-site in Southfield, Michigan. Candidates must reside in the Metro Detroit area. No relocation assistance is available.
Note: Candidates must hold an active Michigan Bar license. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience. Candidates without an active Michigan Bar license or the required litigation background will not be considered.

- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on matters with regulatory or transactional dimensions
- Contribute to business development efforts with the benefit of firm-provided marketing support and mentorship
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence
- Manage a varied caseload with autonomy, efficiency, and a commitment to outstanding client service
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Bar license required
- 5+ years of litigation experience; real estate litigation strongly preferred; general commercial litigation experience considered
- Superior legal research, writing, advocacy, and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and case strategy independently
- No book of business required
Why You Will Love Working Here
