Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled BCBA to work with our team of professionals in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention programs. As a BCBA at Bright Behavior Therapy, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing effective behavior interventions, providing training to staff and caregivers, and ensuring that services align with the highest standards of ethical practice. You will play a key role in helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments (e.g., Functional Behavior Assessments, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R) to identify the needs of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.
- Provide direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff, ensuring proper implementation of treatment plans.
- Train staff, caregivers, and families on effective behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis to ensure the effectiveness of intervention plans.
- Modify treatment plans based on ongoing data and feedback.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and parents.
- Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Experience in conducting assessments and designing behavior intervention plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in training and supervising staff.
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines and standards for practice as a BCBA.
- Ability to engage effectively with families and caregivers.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis software (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach).
- Experience with verbal behavior therapy (VBT) and other ABA techniques.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.
