Quality Coordinator
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
As the Quality Coordinator you will be a key member of the Quality Management Team and works under the direction of the Quality Manager to support and execute quality-related activities within plant operations. This role ensures alignment between plant-level quality initiatives and overall company strategy.
The facility maintains certified Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001). The Quality Coordinator plays an active role in maintaining and improving these systems while supporting critical production processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.

- Minimum of two (2) years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated ability to implement improvements and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and associated quality tools preferred.
- Knowledge of process and product auditing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field.
WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support achievement of departmental goals related to production quality and performance.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Standards.
- Monitor and support critical quality processes, including follow-up on claims, complaints, concessions, and key quality performance indicators.
- Identify, analyze, and help prevent quality issues by implementing and enforcing established quality standards using AMBS principles.
- Conduct audits of measurement systems, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance capabilities and processes.
- Serve as a secondary contact for Customer Technical Support, R&D, and external auditors.
- Support FMEA development and revise Control Plans in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
- Assist with casting trials for new products, including feasibility studies (APQP), documentation of production processes, and part approval processes (PPAP).
- Manage and maintain production recipes in APICS as required.
- Perform flaw detection using non-destructive testing techniques.
- Support improvement projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING
This position operates in a combination of office and manufacturing settings. While administrative tasks are completed in a climate-controlled office, regular presence on the plant floor is required, where exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise, and industrial conditions may occur.
