Technical Specialist Salesforce Developer
The Huntington Vendor and tech finance team is seeking a Salesforce Developer to participate in development activities spanning multiple Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to:
1. Independently build and unit test components as well as work with Dev/QA team members to resolve code and configuration-based defects. Lead a dev team and provide guidance/mentor as needed.
2. Lead Proof of concepts with the architects to evaluate and document new designs, integrations, patterns, and practices.
- 3- Month Contract to Hire
- Salary would be $120,000, Bonus 15%
- 4 days hybrid on site in Detroit, Michigan. This is the preferred location, they will prioritize local talent, but they are open to other locations within their footprint depending on the talent.
- W2 is the current preference, but they are currently open to sponsorship for H1 consultants with their I140 APPROVED .
- Sr Salesforce Developer with Service, Sales and Financial Services Cloud experience. (Financial management background is preferred). No mention of Marketing Cloud.
- Q2 Originate experience is a big focus for this role. (preferred) This is the cloud-based loan origination and underwriting platform built on their Salesforce CRM which integrates directly into Financial Services Cloud and Sales cloud.
- Candidates must above all, be strong technically. Functional aspect would be a plus but not if it sacrifices the technical aspect.
- Strong integration experience with API’s is a MUST. Experience with other integration and middleware tools, such as MuleSoft, etc., would be a plus.
- Knowledge or understanding of how Salesforce integrates into Oracle would be a plus. Experience in Oracle is not required. They will be working very closely with the Oracle team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate proficiency in Core Salesforce capabilities such as: Apex, LWCs, flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security.
· Participate in enhancements to DevOps processes (pipelines, monitoring, test automation).
· Understanding of enterprise cross-system integration concepts such as processing events and interacting with APIs.
· Conduct product/solution evaluations – including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings - for domain by creating prototypes/Proof of concepts as a means to elicit clarify and design towards the business goals.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· Min 4 years of progressively responsible technical and business work experience developing enterprise-level applications which includes Salesforce.com full-stack development experience.
· Min 2-3 years in a scrum team environment
· Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are primary to the success of this candidate.
· SFDC Data Model knowledge across various cloud/products & strong data modeling experience.
· Subject matter expertise in branching/code merging practices in GIT (or equivalent) repository.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce Certifications such as, but not limited to: Administrator, Platform Developer (1 and 2), Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant
· Salesforce managed package evaluation, deployment, and upgrade experience highly preferred
· Experience with Salesforce CI/CD(Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, etc)
· Experience with other salesforce products like MuleSoft, Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be a plus
· Google Cloud knowledge preferred
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
