The Rapid is hiring a Dispatcher to join our team!

As a Dispatcher, You Will:
- Perform daily dispatching and related activities; coordinate trip assignments; monitor radio communications; monitor operator adherence for show and reporting times.
- Maintain all dispatch records, including daily time records and prepare reports.
- Assist in the safety and security of the operations with Federal, State or Local Law enforcement personnel.
- Prepare, compile, and submit timely reports on work activities, operations, production, or work-related accidents/incidents.
- Manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For - Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in business management, or 60 credit hours equivalent; AND two years full-time or part-time equivalent dispatching public transportation, high volume service call center, or related field experience will be considered in lieu of education; OR any equivalent combination of education and experience as defined above.
- Must possess a valid Michigan license with less than 4 points. Points greater than 4 will automatically disqualify the applicant from consideration.
- Must possess CDL B, with Air Brake and Passenger endorsement, or is capable of obtaining CDL B with Air Brake and Passenger endorsement.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite.
- Ability to learn proprietary software/hardware as necessary.
- Ability to perform under stressful conditions and react appropriately

- $27.36/HR (nonexempt status)
