IEP was founded with the purpose of taking care of the patient by taking care of the provider. Position OverviewIEP is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio.
This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, community-focused emergency department with strong support from APPs, nursing, and hospital leadership. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, adaptable, and committed to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population
- Perform evaluations, diagnostics, procedures, and treatment planning in accordance with current standards of care
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, consultants, and hospital leadership
- Accurately and efficiently document all patient encounters in the EMR
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, credentialing, and licensure requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Eligible for or holding an active Ohio medical license
- Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications (preferred)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Qualifications:
