Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and safety regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment.
• Administer and oversee comprehensive onboarding programs, including mandatory safety training and facility tours for new hires.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives related to training, talent development, and succession planning for manufacturing operations.
• Process payroll data, administer benefits programs, and manage HRIS records for all plant employees.
• Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficient knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
• Demonstrated ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce, including production and skilled trades.
• Strong understanding of HRIS systems, payroll processes, and benefits administration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HR in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing operations, such as lean principles or production scheduling.
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• Certification or advanced experience in OSHA compliance or workplace safety programs.
