Salary Range: $82,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and customer-specific quality standards.
• Lead APQP activities, including the development of FMEAs, Control Plans, and successful PPAP submissions.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (e.g., 8D methodology) for internal and customer-identified issues.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and other process control methodologies.
• Conduct internal and supplier quality system audits to verify adherence to IATF 16949 and other quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, lean manufacturing principles, and defect reduction programs.
• Manage customer quality concerns, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in IATF 16949 standard and its practical application.
• Demonstrated expertise in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proven experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Certified Internal Auditor (IATF 16949) or Lead Auditor certification.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality data interpretation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP for advanced data analysis.
• Experience with VDA standards or specific OEM customer requirements (e.g., GM BIQS, Ford Q1).
• Familiarity with quality management systems software (e.g., SAP QM, ETQ Reliance).
