Pediatric Psychologist – Pain Rehabilitation

The Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Program at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is growing and we’re seeking an outstanding pediatric psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team. The pediatric psychologist will work with children and adolescents and their caregivers in our pediatric chronic pain and functional neurologic symptom disorder (FNSD) program. We are expanding this program to include multiple levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient treatment. While this position would be primarily outpatient, our ideal candidate would be interested in contributing to program development and clinical care across all levels of care. There are also opportunities to work with other pediatric rehabilitation populations (e.g., limb loss, ARFID).

Minimum requirements include completion of a doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-approved program, including APA- or CPA-approved internship. Prior experience in health care settings is desired.

Our pediatric programs will be moving to the new Joan Secchia Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital. This will be the first children’s rehabilitation hospital in Michigan and represents a collaboration between Mary Free Bed and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Essential Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Education, and Training Requirements):

• Doctoral (PhD, PsyD) degree in Psychology
• Licensure as a psychologist (LP) or license eligible, with the State of Michigan.
