Registered Nurse (LTC) – Travel Assignment

Start Date: 08/24/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Shift: Nights (3x12-hour) | Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week | Weekly Pay: $1,880–$1,925 per week | Setting: hospital-based care unit This travel role places you in a hospital setting serving adult and geriatric patients with long-term care needs. You’ll work under supervision to deliver consistent, patient- and family-centered care, aligning with established methods and procedures while contributing to a positive patient experience. - Setting: hospital-based care unit Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients within LTC-focused protocols, under supervision of the department leadership.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care and progress in the chart.
- Assist with activities of daily living, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and other nursing tasks as assigned.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition; initiate appropriate responses and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
- Uphold patient and family-centered care principles, ensure infection prevention practices, and support a safe, respectful care environment.
- Adhere to the facility’s attendance policy and shift expectations; understand the 3-strike policy regarding lateness or absences, with documented exceptions for illness or hospitalization. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of RN LTC experience
- Ability to work the night shift (3x12-hour shifts) in a hospital setting
- Documentation of MI LTC fingerprinting is a plus
- Must meet the facility’s attendance standards and policies Benefits and Support
