Full-Time Dental Hygienist
Full-Time Dental Hygienist – Ann Arbor, MI
A rapidly growing and modern private dental office in Ann Arbor is seeking a positive, caring, and motivated Full-Time Dental Hygienist . We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for our full-time staff.
We pride ourselves on our great team culture and are looking for the right person to fit our practice. We believe in a patient-first approach ; you will never be asked to "sell" products or procedures. Instead, we value clinicians who are excellent at recognizing patient needs, diagnosing periodontal conditions, and educating patients on their oral health. We schedule ample time for SRPs so you can provide excellent care without feeling rushed.
Start Date: July 2026 Compensation: $42–$50/hr (Negotiable based on experience)
Work Hours (33.5 hrs/week)
- Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM
- Tuesday: 9 AM – 7 PM
- Wednesday: 8 AM – 1 PM (We open only two Wednesdays per month!)
- Thursday: 9 AM – 7 PM
- Friday: 9 AM – 2 PM

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Perform thorough intra/extra-oral pre-screenings and update periodontal charts.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical and dental records.
- Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental hygiene equipment.
- Take digital X-rays, panoramic X-rays, and intraoral photos.
- Record treatment plans and discuss them clearly with patients.
- Educate patients on dental procedures, including Root Canals, Surgical Extractions, Invisalign, and Implants.
- Take intra-oral scans for bite splint patients as needed.
- Assist the dentist with simple procedures and limited exams as needed.
Requirements & Preferences
- Must be a Licensed Dental Hygienist.
- Experience with EagleSoft dental software is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong "team player" mentality.
- An honest, gentle, and open-minded approach to patient care.
