The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for a range of manufacturing positions, including production, skilled trades, and engineering roles.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial requisition to offer negotiation and pre-boarding.
• Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand departmental needs and create effective job descriptions.
• Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies, utilizing job boards, industry networks, trade schools, and local community outreach.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and background checks to ensure fit with company culture and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Participate in local career fairs, industry events, and college recruiting initiatives to build talent pipelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
• Strong sourcing skills across various platforms (job boards, professional networks, social media).
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing roles, industry trends, and labor market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage candidates and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience recruiting for roles in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and terminology (e.g., CNC, PLC, welding).
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Polish) relevant to local workforce demographics.
• Prior experience with high-volume, hourly recruiting in a plant setting.
