Stonefield provides consulting services for real estate developers, universities, and public agencies. We are seeking to expand our boundaries and services at all times. We believe that Surveying is a natural expansion for the firm and will allow us to service our clients' objectives on a wider platform.

The right candidate will bring a strong technical background, interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and a desire for continued growth and learning. As Stonefield is a multi-disciplinary firm, interest in cross-disciplinary work within the field of civil engineering and consulting is encouraged.Key Responsibilities
Job responsibilities will include Locating and driving stakes into the ground, transporting necessary supplies to and stocking the field vehicle, Proper care and maintenance of equipment, Properly and safely using tools such as: hammer, machete, chainsaw, and shovel, Clear survey centerline of obstructions, Paint and mark laths, and properly operating a level rod and Prism Pole.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseThe following minimum requirements are expected of candidates:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Requires the ability to bend and stoop repeatedly and to move objects for long distances.
- Must be able to work in the field in a variety of weather conditions, and out of town work possible.
- Must have good handwriting skills for marking stakes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self- motivation.Knowledge of field survey engineering methods and techniques and survey instruments are a plus.
