Pride Health is hiring Float Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility-based Dearborn MI 48124. This is a 5-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Shifts Available: First/Eastern Monday - Friday 8:00 Am – 5:00 Pm
Pay rate: $ 28/ hr (Based on years of experience)
Note: Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to different sites when needed.

· The Patient Services Representative (PSR III) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
· PSR III draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
· PSR III have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
· PSR III will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.
· Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform safe, accurate venipuncture and capillary blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collections
· Conduct clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures
· Prepare, label, verify, and process specimens for laboratory testing
· Verify patient demographics, initials, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling
· Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort, trust, and confidence
· Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
· Perform daily duties accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
· Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
· Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and confidentiality of patient information

Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
· Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
· 3+ years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
· Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
· 2+ years Customer service in a preferred retail or service environment.
· Keyboard/data entry experience
