AWS Instructor - Remote | WFH

We are looking for a passionate and skilled AWS Instructor to provide high-quality, engaging instruction to students pursuing AWS certifications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and a solid understanding of how they fit into broader systems operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach a variety of students, preparing them for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) and Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) exams.

Responsibilities:

Lead AWS training sessions in both physical and remote classrooms during weeknights and weekends.
Deliver technical instruction in a clear, engaging manner that encourages student participation and promotes a deep understanding of cloud technologies.
Prepare students for the AWS CCP and SAA certifications, with an emphasis on applying cloud solutions to meet specific business needs across various industries.
Focus on new and emerging technologies within the cloud market, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments, to ensure that students are up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
Assist students with troubleshooting and problem-solving related to cloud computing, networking, mobile devices, and security issues.
Support students in gaining the skills needed for success in data center roles, with an emphasis on system administration.
Use adult learning strategies to make content relevant and accessible to all learners.
Foster a professional, supportive, and interactive classroom environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud computing, networking, and programming in multiple languages.
Expertise in incorporating and managing cloud technologies as part of broader system operations.
Solid problem-solving abilities, with the capability to help students tackle a wide range of technical issues, from operating systems to security challenges.
Experience with system administration and the skills necessary to perform effectively in a data center environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics in an accessible manner.
7-8 years of relevant work experience in IT, particularly in cloud computing or AWS.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
