Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for material planning, procurement, and inventory control.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability for production.
• Oversee the entire supply chain process, from raw material sourcing to finished goods delivery.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering teams to forecast material requirements and production schedules.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, monitor vendor performance, and foster strong supplier relationships.
• Implement and maintain robust material tracking systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control, planning, and procurement.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
• Proven track record in leading ERP/MRP system implementations or major upgrades.
• Familiarity with global logistics and international trade compliance.
