We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Executive Director (ED) of a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing access to justice in Michigan. Your Role & Impact

As the Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of daily operations and providing critical support to the Executive Director. Your ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism will be essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support:

Manage and maintain the ED's schedule, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Prepare, review, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and professionalism.

Organize and coordinate meetings, including handling logistics, creating agendas, preparing materials, and managing follow-up actions.

Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Communications & Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for board meetings and volunteer committees.

Draft and edit communications on behalf of the ED as needed.

Project Management:

Assist with key initiatives related to Access to Justice (ATJ), Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA), and the Fellows Program.

Track project timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure smooth execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

What You Bring

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

4+ years of experience in administrative or executive support roles.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and deadlines.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships.

Experience working in a nonprofit, law-related organization, or small business environment (preferred).

Familiarity with legal advocacy and policy issues (a plus).

Comfort working in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office work.
