Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Process payroll, including calculation of wages, deductions, and submission of payroll taxes.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and ledger adjustments.
• Track and reconcile inventory movements, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, specific to manufacturing operations.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
• Support costing activities by tracking production expenses and contributing to COGS calculations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and core bookkeeping functions (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing-specific transaction processing.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory accounting and valuation methods.
• Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., job costing, standard costing).
• Proficiency in advanced Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
