Role summary

We’re hiring a hands-on Laborer to support day-to-day work on kitchen and bathroom remodels. You’ll assist with demo, site protection, material handling, basic installs, cleanup, and punch-list tasks. This is a great role for someone dependable who wants to learn the trade and grow.

What you’ll do

• Floor and dust protection, plastic, zip walls, tool setup
• Remove cabinets, fixtures, drywall, tile, and flooring safely
• Load/unload, organize deliveries, stage cabinetry, tile, and trim
• Cabinets, hardware, trim, shelving, caulking, minor framing and drywall patches, underlayment, simple tile layout assist
• Hold fixtures, mix thinset or grout, set laser levels, measure and cut under direction
• Sweep, vacuum, debris removal, end-of-day reset to white-glove standards
• Follow PPE rules, keep clear walkways, check cords and tools
• Touch-ups, paint prep, silicone, hardware adjustments
• Drive to pick up materials and tools as needed

What you bring

• 1+ year of residential construction, remodeling preferred, or facility maintenance experience. Being reliable, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and desire to grow with our team matter more than experience in the field.
• Reliable transportation to jobs around Southeast Michigan; valid driver’s license and clean driving record for material runs
• Comfort with common hand and power tools: drills, impact driver, oscillating tool, circular saw, shop vac
• Able to lift 80 lbs, work on your feet most of the day, and handle dust/noise with proper PPE
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, professional homeowner communication, and respect for the homeowner's home and possessions.
• Basic math and measurement skills; able to read a tape to 1/16"
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. Unable to sponsor at this time.

Nice to have

• Basic carpentry, drywall, tile, remodeling, and/or construction experience
• Experience with cabinet installation or finish carpentry
• Hand tools and power tools to complete jobs

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, typical shift 7:30am–5:30pm, occasional weekends by schedule
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus overtime per Michigan law
