- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, etc.
- Conduct full inspections on engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems
- Clearly explain repairs and service recommendations to customers
- Maintain detailed service records and follow shop procedures
- Ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Automotive technician training program or associate degree (preferred)
- Valid Michigan State Certification or ASE Certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using diagnostic software and repair systems
- A positive, never give up attitude
- A passion for fixing vehicles right the first time
- The drive to learn and grow in the automotive industry
