Job Description

Seeking a skilled plumber and/or pipefitter to join our growing team in West Michigan! This individual will be responsible for installing various plumbing/piping components in new construction commercial and industrial buildings, typically working with copper and PEX materials. Must be comfortable with reading blueprints and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing equipment at commercial sites using copper and PEX materials.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for hanging, soldering, and threading pipes.
• Read tape measures accurately to cut and level piping installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and standards during installations.
• Work at heights averaging 20ft, with some projects up to 100ft.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades on-site to complete projects efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3-4 years of plumbing/pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Ability to operate equipment including boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proficiency in fitting and soldering copper pipes.
• Ability to thread pipes accurately.
• Experience with hydronic piping.
• Possession of personal hand tools such as a tape measure, channel locks, drill, and level.
• Comfortable working at heights with appropriate safety measures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
