Facilities Manager | Grandville, MI
Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facility maintenance operations, including preventative and reactive repairs for manufacturing infrastructure and equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards relevant to manufacturing facilities.
- Manage the facilities budget, including capital expenditures for upgrades and operational expenses for services and utilities.
- Develop and implement facility improvement projects, such as renovations, expansions, or new equipment installations, to support production needs.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers for cleaning, security, waste management, and specialized repairs.
- Optimize utility consumption and manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, including disaster recovery and business continuity for manufacturing sites.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
- Proven experience implementing and managing preventive/predictive maintenance programs and CMMS in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and building codes relevant to industrial facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage facilities capital projects, operational budgets, and vendor contracts.
- Experience optimizing facilities operations to support continuous manufacturing processes and production uptime.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implementation or optimization.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or advanced industrial safety training.
- LEED Accredited Professional (AP) or other sustainability certifications.
- Experience managing industrial utilities specific to manufacturing environments (e.g., compressed air, process cooling, wastewater treatment).
