Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, efficiency, and quality.
• Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise for production challenges.
• Manage the engineering department budget, resources, and equipment.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate new technologies and improve operational performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership or management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical foundation in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, process) applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects, including process improvement, automation, and new product introduction.
• Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and their application to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in Industry 4.0 technologies and advanced automation concepts.
• Demonstrated experience with CAPEX planning, ROI analysis, and budget management for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with specific quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485).
