Position Overview:
A Head Start Infant/Toddler Lead-Teacher ensures the implementation of the Head Start program in a safe environment for children in accordance with the performance standards by meeting the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and cultural needs of each enrolled child in partnership with parents.

HS4KC has multiple locations all over Kent County, and openings occur regularly at most of our sites. We'd love to discuss which site(s) you prefer to work at when we interview you!
Base Pay
- $22.72 AA start rate
- $25.50 BA start rate
- Potential for wage increases based on past related job experience and degree
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Classroom Responsibilities
- Working with Parents
- Recruitment/Enrollment
- Guidelines and Procedures
Required Education and Experience:
One of the following:
- Minimum Associate Degree (Bachelor Degree preferred) with stated major in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or (CD) Child Development
- An Associate Degree in any field with a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours in ECE/CD with emphasis on infant/toddler development.

- Related Field means child guidance/counseling, child psychology and family studies. 2006 MR 11, Eff. Dec. 7, 2006; R 400.5103
