Over the past several years, we've built a thriving practice with a strong reputation and a loyal patient base. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced, operationally strong Practice Manager to step into a key leadership role and eventually take full ownership of day-to-day operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Practice Manager role located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. As a Practice Manager at The Aesthetic Method, you will oversee daily operations of the practice, lead and manage staff, ensure smooth workflows, and maintain an exceptional patient experience.
The right candidate will work closely alongside our current Practice Manager for approximately 90 days to ensure a thoughtful, supported transition into full leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership, long-term stability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing medical aesthetics business.
Provide confident, day-to-day leadership of the clinical and administrative team, setting clear expectations and holding staff accountable with professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all practice operations, ensuring seamless patient flow, exceptional patient experience, and consistent adherence to policies, protocols, and brand standards
- Manage team performance, including hiring support, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and conducting regular performance check-ins
- Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, providers, and staff to ensure clear communication, alignment, and follow-through
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics (KPIs), including revenue, utilization, provider productivity, and patient retention, using data to drive informed decisions
- Utilize administrative systems and workflows, including scheduling, payroll coordination, documentation processes, and proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Drive)
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve workflow, team efficiency, and overall practice growth
- Support and enforce compliance with medical spa regulations, safety standards, and internal protocols
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and process improvements that elevate the practice
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a practice manager, operations manager, or leadership role (medical spa, healthcare, wellness, or service-based business preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and hold a team accountable with confidence and professionalism
- Strong operational and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and using data to drive decisions
- High level of proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Drive)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and remain calm under pressure
