Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in academic tasks, behavioral expectations, and social interactions within the classroom
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to meet school compliance requirements, including TB testing and current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in educational settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior work supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or experience in CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
