Legal Contracts Intern - Summer 2026

As a Legal Contracts Intern with Rocket's Legal team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting commercial contract operations across multiple business lines. You will work alongside experienced attorneys and business partners to review, draft, and process various agreements while learning about legal compliance in a fast-paced corporate environment. This internship offers exceptional exposure to commercial contracting practices and provides valuable experience in a dynamic organization known for innovation and growth.

About The Role

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate various operational agreements including consulting, service, technology, confidentiality, and sponsorship contracts
• Collaborate with attorneys and outside counsel on contract matters and risk assessment
• Assist in drafting and maintaining contract templates for various business needs
• Support the Legal Team with special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Help develop and implement relevant training materials for team members

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a JD program with an interest in corporate/commercial law
• Strong academic performance and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience in corporate legal department or law firm
• Coursework in contracts, business law, or commercial transactions
• Experience with contract management systems
• Interest in financial services, real estate, or technology industries
• Demonstrated project management skills
