Salary Range: $47,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy.
• Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax submissions.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring proper coding and classification of all financial entries.
• Track and reconcile inventory costs, raw material purchases, and work-in-progress specific to manufacturing.
• Prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and provide documentation for audits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and work-in-progress (WIP).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and familiarity with ERP systems common in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and fundamental bookkeeping practices.
• Proven ability in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and performing bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with inventory costing methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted average).
• Basic understanding of job costing or standard costing principles.
• Exposure to fixed asset management for manufacturing equipment.
