Maintenance Mechanic
- Must have a certificate for refrigerant type 1 and 2
- GED or equivalent education
- 7 years of HVAC facility-related work experience or comparable work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes and safe work practices
- Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment)
- The Maintenance Mechanical position focuses on HVAC systems and requires a hands-on approach to complete repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and associated electrical and pneumatic systems
- The role emphasizes preventive maintenance and repair service work across various building systems to ensure properties remain in peak operational condition
- The position also involves customer service, documentation, and compliance with safety regulations
- Complete required repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, and air handlers
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
- Prepare and submit requests for parts purchase and purchase orders
- Assist other mechanics and electricians with repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain tools and order supplies as required for installation and repairs
- Keep logs, document equipment repairs, and close work orders accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety policies
- Evaluate, train, teach, and coach a workforce of engineers and maintenance technicians as requested
