Shift: 6 am – 4:30 pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, receiving, and storing materials, supplies, and finished goods to support efficient operations. You’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate inventory flow, timely shipments, and a clean, safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, distribute, and store products in designated secure locations.
• Unpack materials and operate lift assist equipment.
• Transport materials and products manually, with hand trucks/skids, or by forklift (certification a plus but not required).
• Follow all safety procedures, including forklift best practices.
• Act as a liaison with the shipping department to confirm shipment details, handle special instructions, and help expedite critical orders.
• Assist in resolving issues with employees, contractors, or vendors when problems arise.
• Collect and properly dispose of scrap and packaging materials.
• Conduct cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with data entry, reporting, and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software).
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, twisting, and repetitive motions.
• Occasional desk/computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted and up to 45 lbs. with assistance.
• Must wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) when using tools such as box cutters.
