Key Job Responsibilities

• Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
• Maintains accurate financial records by updating patient financial information and recording and collecting patient charges.
• Obtaining and recording vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations.
• Processing of laboratory specimens being sent out to the lab.
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering patients' questions.
• Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position has the following qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous medical office or receptionist experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems, especially EPIC.
• Keen emphasis on precision and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
