Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Specialist (Level 3) to support the management, optimization, and security of enterprise cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on designing scalable cloud architectures, managing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and ensuring efficient cloud operations across environments.

Job Description

• Design and manage cloud tenant structures, including hierarchy planning and efficient resource allocation.
• Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud framework environments.
  
• Ensure secure connectivity between cloud tenants and environments (intra- and inter-tenant connectivity).
  
• Develop, manage, and maintain Terraform templates and scripts for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
  
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code to ensure reliable and efficient deployments.
  
• Design advanced Terraform solutions to automate complex infrastructure tasks and ensure compliance with best practices.
  
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution for critical Terraform deployment issues, minimizing downtime.
  
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance issues and resource utilization, implementing tuning and optimization strategies.
  
• Manage cloud cost monitoring and optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  
• Implement and manage cloud security controls and policies to protect infrastructure and data.
  
• Conduct regular security reviews and audits.
  
• Ensure cloud environments comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
  
• Design and implement Docker image strategies for cloud deployments with an emphasis on scalability and security.
  
• Optimize GitHub runners used in CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability and performance.
  
• Identify and implement improvements for Docker image management and CI/CD runner configuration.
  
• Guide internal teams and new users through the cloud onboarding process, including training and accelerator services.
  
• Provide technical support for cloud adoption initiatives across departments.
  
• Mentor junior team members on Docker image management, Terraform development, and CI/CD processes.
  
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure strategy.

Skills Required

• 5–7 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Extensive experience working with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments.
• Strong experience managing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and cost management practices.
• Experience with cloud onboarding, user support, and infrastructure performance tuning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Rate

• $56 - $64 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
