Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all daily administrative operations for the manufacturing facility.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Plant Manager and leadership team.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships for non-production areas.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs for office spaces, ensuring a functional environment.
  • Assist with basic HR functions including new employee onboarding, timecard management, and record keeping.
  • Maintain organized and accurate company records, production logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Implement and uphold office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain a professional workplace.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with administrative budget management, purchasing, and vendor relations.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols and compliance relevant to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or industry terminology.
  • Experience with safety compliance (e.g., OSHA) or quality management systems (e.g., ISO).
  • Ability to provide basic IT troubleshooting for office and shop floor equipment.
