Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Green Belts and project teams in the application of Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identify, define, and prioritize significant business improvement opportunities using data-driven analysis.
• Develop and execute complex Six Sigma projects to reduce variation, defects, and waste, leading to improved quality and efficiency.
• Analyze process data using statistical tools and software to identify root causes of problems and develop effective solutions.
• Implement and sustain process improvements, ensuring long-term effectiveness and integration into standard operating procedures.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and drive organizational change.
• Train and coach employees on Six Sigma principles and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Present project findings, results, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully leading and completing complex Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment, achieving measurable business impact.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis tools and methodologies, including Minitab, JMP, or similar software, and ability to apply them to manufacturing data.
• Extensive experience in DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify) methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team facilitation skills, with the ability to mentor Green Belts and influence stakeholders across different departments.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, quality control, and lean principles.
• Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from a recognized institution (e.g., ASQ, IASSC).

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• - Proficiency in advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., JMP, R, Python for data analysis).
• - Experience in a specific manufacturing sector relevant to the hiring company (e.g., automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals).
• - Proven ability to mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members.
• - Certification in a related discipline, such as APICS CSCP or PMP.
