Job Title: Cyber Security Expert

Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Expert with deep technical expertise and the
ability to lead security projects to drive improvements across our IT and OT landscapes. This role
requires a strong balance of hands-on technical skills, project leadership and excellent
communication abilities.
The role will hold primary responsibility to ensure customer-facing technology solutions are securely
designed and implemented as well as compliant with company policies, laws, and industry
regulations. You will work alongside other teams including Governance Risk and Compliance,
Incident Response, and Vulnerability management.

Americas Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Location
Sterling Heights, MI or Montreal, CA

Key Responsibilities
- Review and advise on new and existing digital solutions serviced to customers based on
industry best practices in cyber security design and implementation
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and projects from planning through execution.
- Review and improve existing security architecture, designs and implementations.
- Assess and update security policies, standards, and processes for alignment with industry
benchmarks and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into
business and IT operations.
- Contribute to incident response efforts including investigations, containment and lessons learned
reviews.
- Communicate risks, recommendations and findings to stakeholders and leadership in a well structured
manner

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years in Cyber Security Role

- BS/BA (with an IT focus) or 10+ years of progressive Information Technology and
Cybersecurity work experience in lieu of degree.

Required Technical Skills
- Experience with deploying digital solutions with a focus on properly securing environments
based on best practice designs
- Excellent understanding of risk management, threat modeling and security frameworks
- Hands-on experience with incident response, threat detection, and root cause analysis
- Solid understanding of securing cloud infrastructures such as Azure
- Excellent documentation skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and executive-level
audiences
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while adhering to project deadlines
- Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture, policy and process review
Other Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communications skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor junior team members in cyber security practices.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- English fluency and effective communication (written, conversational, and technical)
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience with Wiz, Tenable, Crowd strike
- Spanish and/or French fluency a strong advantage
