We are seeking an experienced and energetic teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. Core Responsibilities:- Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Love to engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Love to learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that daily activities and interactions reflect the mission and goals of the program.
- Assist individual children in need of special attention, including provide and model additional individualized support as needed.
- Assist with physical safety and emotional security of the children.
- Plan and implement a program of educational activities for preschoolers, including curriculum goals as written in education component plan.
- Writing a daily lesson plan that specifies a daily schedule toward the achievement of specific goals.
- Create a clean, safe environment that is conducive to learning, promoting social relationships.
- Observe the accomplishments of the children on a regular basis, using daily written anecdotal notes, and entering those notes into the COR
- Plan and conduct two conferences.
Classroom Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean organized classroom.
- Proficient in setting up classroom areas and materials.
- Creative in planning classroom activities.
- Skilled at redirecting and management of challenging behavior.
Minimum Qualification:
- CDA certificate with experience teaching children preschool age.
- Previous professional experience working with preschoolers.
- Proficient in classroom set up and management.
