Seeking a highly skilled and versatile Developer & Data Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, coupled with expertise in data visualization and analysis using tools like Qlik. The ideal candidate will be capable of building robust web applications, designing and implementing APIs, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and effectively communicating those insights to stakeholders. This role demands a proactive individual who can contribute to both development projects and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as on a team.
What you'll do...
- Full-Stack Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications
- Develop user-friendly interfaces using Angular
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using python
- Work with databases, especially Google Big Query, to store and retrieve data
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
- Data Visualization & Analytics (Qlik Focus):
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends
- Connect to various data sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud storage
- Transform and cleanse data for analysis using ETL processes
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Business Acumen & Strategy:
- Understand the business context of the applications and data being developed
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes and gain a competitive advantage
- Contribute to strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in both software development and data analytics
- Project Management:
- Manage individual projects or contribute to larger team projects
- Develop project plans, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
You'll have...
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Programing, Engineering, Business or Finance
- 2+ years of experience with:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications
- Angular
- RESTful APIs using python
- Google Big Query
- Google Cloud Platform
- Qlik Sense
