Salary: $16 - $19 per hour, Non-Union/PCMI

POSITION OPENING

Lead Preschool Teacher

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 19 years of age with a high school diploma.
• Meet one of several educational pathways: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or hold a Michigan Teaching Certificate with a ZA or ZS Endorsement.
• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Experience working with early childhood students in a preschool setting.
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Capable of building relationships with families and staff and creating a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand.
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Must be familiar with Early Childhood Curriculum.
• Ability to use technology with basic proficiency at a minimum.
• Open to and enthusiasm for creative, child-centered programming, such as outdoor learning, nature-based curriculum, or other innovative early childhood education approaches.

Duties:

• Primary responsibilities will be teaching, supervision of preschool, administrative recordkeeping, and recruitment efforts.

Salary: $16-$19 per hour, commensurate with experience and education, PCMI Non-Union Position
