Surgical Center Receptionist

```Duties```We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our surgical center, providing excellent customer service and administrative support.

Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar- Verify patient insurance information and collect payments- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents and patient charts- Ensure the reception area is clean and presentable at all times

Skills:- Experience working at the front desk in a dental or medical office is preferred- Proficiency in using healthcare software such as EPIC, SIS, HST or medical software such as eClinicalWorks, is highly desirable- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

```Requirements```- High school diploma or equivalent- Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role- Excellent customer service skills- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
