Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP for manufacturing operations.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including detailed variance analysis for production costs and operational expenses.
• Direct cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, inventory valuation, and analysis of cost of goods sold.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity across manufacturing sites.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and support operational needs.
• Lead the annual audit process, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making for production efficiency and capital investments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams and collaborate cross-functionally within an operational setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementations, upgrades, or significant optimization projects.
• Proficiency in advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial impact.
• Experience in financial due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
