Schedule: Weekend Shift ( Saturday & Sunday)

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Weekend LPN Supervisor to join our Assisted Living team. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership during weekend shifts, ensuring high- quality resident care while supporting and supervising care staff.

The Weekend LPN Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive environment for residents and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and community policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing and care staff during weekend shifts.

• Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with individualized service plans.

• Monitor resident health status and report changes to the appropriate medical professionals and leadership.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

• Respond to resident needs, emergencies, and family inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.

• Ensure proper documentation of care, medication administration, and incident reports.

• Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

• Support staff by answering questions, assisting with problem- solving, and maintaining smooth operations during weekend shifts.

• Communicate effectively with the Assisted Living Administrator and nursing leadership regarding resident or operational concerns.

• Participate in resident assessments and care planning as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN) license in good standing.

• Experience in assisted living, long- term care, or senior living preferred .

• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to urgent situations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.

Education & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program .

• Active LPN license in the state of Michigan.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.

• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
