Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and non-conformances.
• Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system.
• Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining quality requirements and inspection criteria.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and reduce scrap/rework.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and PPAP.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience conducting internal or external quality system audits.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and their quality-related modules.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
