Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced I.D. Grinder to set up and operate grinding machines producing precision aerospace components. The role includes inspecting parts, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and ensuring orders are completed on time.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and run I.D. grinders (Okamoto CNC, Krupp Manual; Studer CNC OD a plus)
- Inspect parts and maintain tight tolerances (as close as .0001”)
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
- Read blueprints (including GD&T) and use inspection equipment
- Prioritize work orders to meet production and customer requirements
Requirements:
- 3–5 years aerospace manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ID, OD, steps, and shoulders
- Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork
- Must be a U.S. citizen
