Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team for the 1st Shift CNC Mill. In this role, you will perform machine set-ups in accordance with blueprints and operate various manual shop machines and CNC milling machines while ensuring high-quality standards. You will be responsible for changing out fixtures and operating 3 and 4 axis CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery upon completion of training.
• Set up equipment parameters to conform to process work standards.
• Perform daily machine cleaning, maintenance, error proofing, and lubrication checks.
• Troubleshoot machines to improve performance and maintain quality.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist experienced machinists with daily tasks, including manual and CNC milling.
• Cut materials, fabricate, and install components.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, inner diameter micrometer, and cylinder gauge.
• Regularly check equipment to ensure normal operating activity.
• Engage in basic troubleshooting and report unresolved issues.
• Complete daily documentation, checklists, and audits.
• Follow established work instructions and adhere to safety requirements, including the use of proper PPE.
• Participate in and successfully complete all training requirements.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with grinder, milling machine, surface grinding, and blueprint reading.
• At least 2 years of CNC Mill Machining experience.
• Experience editing programs and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform start-ups and fixture changes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with equipment parameters and process work standards.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE usage.

Work Environment

The facility is expansive, requiring significant walking between buildings and across the plant. One department is a dry room, necessitating specific attire such as a garb and beard net if applicable. The environment is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, with a strong emphasis on 5S3K practices.

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, MI.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr.

The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. They provide $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.

This is a fully onsite position in Holland,MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 10, 2026.
