Title: Workday Extend Configurator
Location: Warren, MI or Austin, TX or Bay area, CA, can work Remote
Duration: 6 months CTH

The Role: Client is seeking a skilled Workday Extend Configurator to design, develop, and maintain robust Extend solutions within the Workday platform. This role is critical to ensuring that custom applications are effectively built using the latest Workday capabilities and consistently meet or exceed business requirements.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of HR Technology experience (Workday).
2+ years of most recent hands-on experience in building and debugging
Workday Extend Applications , creating Workday custom reports, calculated fields and XSLTs.
Proven ability in determining IT system requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Expertise in utilizing product configurators, specifically within the Workday platform ( Workday Extend, Studio, etc .).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
AI & Intelligent Systems Requirements
Basic, high-level understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, with awareness of common use cases.
Some exposure or interest in how AI can be used in enterprise platforms, such as simple automation, basic analytics, or improving user experience.
Familiarity with AI tools or platforms is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and explore new technologies is important.
Interest in identifying simple opportunities where AI can improve workflows, productivity, or platform operations.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Workday certification in relevant modules (e.g., Extend, Integrations)
is a plus.

Strong proficiency in Computer Program Design Techniques and experience
with various Computer Languages.

Demonstrated experience in Web Programming Languages for developing and
integrating applications.
