This opportunity is for experienced School Psychologists to provide critical support to K-12 students across several schools within Monroe County, Michigan, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for student development and special education, seeking a travel contract position that involves serving multiple school sites.

Position Details:

• Contract Duration: August 12, 2026 June 2, 2027
• Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours
• Number of Positions: 4
• Student Age Range: Kindergarten through 12th grade
• School Sites: Monroe Public (2 locations), Dundee, Jefferson, and Airport schools
• Work Location: Onsite only within Monroe County, MI (Travel required between sites)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required)
• Previous school psychology experience preferred
• Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and support students with diverse educational and emotional needs
• Competence in collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to create effective interventions
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently across multiple locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Collaborate with school personnel to support student mental health and learning goals
• Maintain all required documentation and records in compliance with state regulations
