Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and company standards.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling on the shop floor.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs, with a focus on safety and skills development.
• Process payroll inputs, manage benefits administration, and maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans for manufacturing staff.
• Assist with workers' compensation claims management and promote a proactive safety culture within the plant.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA compliance and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in high-volume recruitment for production, operations, and skilled trade roles.
• Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management for a diverse workforce.
• Experience with HRIS systems and data management relevant to a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting a unionized workforce or with labor relations.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language common within manufacturing workforces (e.g., Spanish).
• Demonstrated experience with safety program administration and OSHA compliance in a production environment.
